The Luminaries are a four-piece pop group from The Legend of Skippy universe.
Blending cinematic pop, uplifting melodies, orchestral arrangements, electronic production and powerful storytelling, The Luminaries create music designed to inspire, encourage and connect people through shared experiences.
At the heart of the band is a simple belief – Everyone carries a light worth sharing.
A Universe Within The Legend of Skippy
The Legend of Skippy is built around the idea that there are infinite possibilities and countless parallel universes.
Each creative medium represents its own universe within the wider mythology. Some universes tell stories through games. Others tell stories through books, films, websites or artwork.
The Luminaries represent the music universe.
In this reality, Yuna and Skippy joined forces with Nyx and Nova to create a band whose songs explore personal growth, friendship, family, learning, freedom, self-discovery and hope.
While the characters may appear in different forms throughout The Legend of Skippy, The Luminaries stand as their own unique universe, connected to the wider saga through a shared belief that even the smallest light can help guide somebody through the dark.
Meet The Band
Yuna
Lead female vocals, keyboard and guitar.
Yuna is the emotional heart of The Luminaries. Her voice carries many of the band’s most powerful and uplifting moments, balancing warmth, compassion and determination.
Skippy
Lead male vocals, piano, keyboards and production.
Skippy provides much of the band’s songwriting, arrangements and electronic elements. His piano work and harmonies help shape the signature Luminaries sound.
Nyx
Guitar and bass.
Quiet, thoughtful and fiercely independent, Nyx brings depth and edge to the band’s music. Her guitar work provides contrast to the group’s brighter moments.
Nova
Drums and percussion.
Energetic, playful and endlessly optimistic, Nova drives the rhythm section while providing much of the band’s infectious energy and spirit.
